Episode 57
Meeting the Mind Like Water
What if your mind does not need to be still before you can practice? This guided meditation uses the image of water to help you meet the mind as it is, whether it feels calm and clear like a silent lake, or active and turbulent like a waterfall.
The invitation is not to change the mind, but to notice its current state with more kindness. This practice can be especially supportive when you feel like your mind is too busy to meditate. A busy mind can still be observed. A quiet mind can still be held gently. Neither one has to define whether the practice is working.
Is your mind more like a lake or a waterfall today?
This episode is a live session recording, so you may notice natural pauses and gentle references to shared practice. The practice opens and closes with a bell as a soft cue.
